Hi, all of you, well, well...looks like we have a cooking cream theme this week 🙂 What we have today? It is tofu that cooked with cooking cream. Nowadays, I am trying to use lesser coconut milk. Let's check it out!

Ingredient:

  • 3 pieces of white tofu - about 150 g tofu. Cut them in dice
  • 1/2 pack of green spinach - cut as you wish
  • About 75 g dried prawn or 2 handful
  • 30 g of the spice blend
  • 5 cloves of garlic - chopped it
  • 3 g of coriander powder

  • 2-3 g of turmeric powder
  • 200 ml of cooking cream
  • 400 ml of water
  • 2 tbsp of olive oil
  • 2-3 of bay leaves
  • 2 kaffir lime leaves
  • 7 g of crushed red chili - this is optional
These are what you do:
  • Prepare the pan, pour olive oil, and add garlic. Turn on the stove on medium-low flame. Saute for about 3 minutes
  • Add tofu, mix together. Let is sit for about 3-5 minutes. Then slowly mix them
  • Pour cooking cream and water
  • Add spice blend, coriander powder, bay leaves, kaffir lime leaves, and crush red chili
  • Add dried prawn and bring to boil. While it is boiling mix them and let it sit for 3 minutes

Arrange your dinner:
  • Place 1 sheet of nori ( dried seaweed)
  • Place Japanese rice in the middle
  • Pour tofu, spinach& dried prawn cream soup around the rice
  • Do not forget to eat your favorite fruit!
  • You can substitute the Japanese rice with pasta, soba, or even fusilli!

What do you think? Easy cooking, simple, quick, yet tasty! And yes, we do not need to add salt because of the dried prawn contain salt. For me, personally, it is enough to make the soup salty. Have a nice day and bye. 🖐😘
