Fried Tofu And Fried Tempeh

These are simple recipes guys… In Indonesia, you can find these foods on the street, especially the evening market. We called these foods as “Gorengan”. And yes, I love these foods too! Fried tempeh and fried tofu. And yeah, you can make them yourself at home.  Let’s check out my recipe from my kitchen Be right back

Seasoning :
  • 4-6 cloves of shallot
  • 2-3 cloves of garlic
  • 1 ttsp coriander (if you like coriander)
  • 3-4 cm bulb of yellow ginger
Mash all of these seasoning!

Additional seasoning, add salt as you like

Ingredient :
  • 15 spoon of flour
  • 3 small pack tempeh. Cut as you like (if you want to make fried tempeh)
  • 4 white tofu, cut as you like (if you want to make fried tofu)
  • spring onion/ onion leaves
  • Water
  • canola oil (deep-fry tempeh or tofu)
These are what you do..
  • Place flour in a bowl. Add seasoning that you mashed, salt, and spring onion/ onion leaves
  • Pour water to make the dough. Stir them well. Don’t  be too watery
  • Add tempeh or tofu. cover them with dough. take a side
  • Heat oil in medium flame. Deep-fry your tempeh or tofu until golden brown
  • Drain in a paper towel
  • Serve with fresh green chili or cherry tomato
