Easy Cooking: Veggie Noddles with Chicken broth and Pan-fry Sukiyaki Saba

Welcome back to Ichi's Fusion Recipes! How are you doing? Today I am going to share one of our favorite food which were sukiyaki saba and noodles. Like I have always done before, I make it easy and quick to prepare. Let's check it out!

1. Easy veggie noodles with chicken broth

Ingredient:
  • 200 g of  vegetarian noodles 
  • 2 chicken stock cubes
  • 500 ml of warm water
  • 8-10 cloves of shallot - chop them
  • 6-8 cloves of garlic - chop them
  • 30-50 ml of olive oil
  • 3 stalks of celery

  • 1 zucchini - shredded
  • 3-4 young corn
  • 2 tomatoes
  • 2 small carrot or 1 medium one - shredded
  • 4 leaves of white cabbage
  • 3-4 purple cabbage
These are what you do:
  •  Shredded carrot and zucchini

  • Cut cabbage, young corn, and tomatoes as you like

  • Dissolve chicken stock cubes with warm water

  • Soak the noodles in hot water for about 2 minutes or until the noodles loosened. Drain it

  • Prepare the big pan or wok. Pour olive oil and add shallot and garlic that you chopped. Turn on the stove on medium-low flame. Saute until fragrant or about 3 minutes

  • Add all of the vegetables except celery. Stir for about 3-5 minutes

  • Pour chicken stock. Let it boil, add celery, then turn off the stove. Tips: we can add noodles after boiling then serve while warm. However, if we haven't ready to eat, then place the veggie & broth, and noodles in a separate bowl. The reason is if we mix the veggie broth with noodles before we haven't eaten yet, the broth will be dissipated by the noodles because it absorbs the broth

2. Pan-fry sukiyaki saba

I have written sukiyaki saba before. Therefore, if you are following Ichi's Fusion Recipes, you would easy quick to remember this particular recipe. This one is the same method by using Sukiyaki sauce (Made in Japan) and saba or mackerel. The only thing that makes this dish looks distinct is the saba meat; I make it small in size.

Ingredient:
  • 4 slices of boneless saba - peeled the skin and plug or cut into small size

  • 30-45 ml of sukiyaki sauce

  • 4-6 cloves of shallot - chop them
  • 4 cloves of garlic - chop them
  • 15-30 ml of olive oil
  • Kaffir lime leaves about 4 - cut into thin
These are what you do:
  • Prepare the pan, add garlic and shallot that you chopped. Pour olive oil and turn on the stove on medium-low flame. Suate until fragrant or 2-3 minutes

  • Add saba and kaffir lime leaves. Stir for about 3 minutes

  • Pour sukiyaki sauce. Stir for about 3-5 minutes then turn off the stove

3. Prepare the menu

  • Mix veggie chicken broth with noodles
  • Take a bowl, scoop some veggie noodles
  • Place some sukiyaki saba on top of the veggie noodles
  • Now dinner is served! Do not forget to eat fruit
  • This recipe is enough for 4-5 people!😁✌
