Cireng (Oyster Mushroom Cireng)

It’s a good one for afternoon tea guys… Sometimes I want to eat traditional food from Indonesia. But, the only way is…I must cook it by myself so I have to try when I failed I must try again. So this is my way to make my wish, cireng! Let’s check it out… Photographed by Acik Mardhiyanti / Acik Mdy To make Cireng : Seasoning : 2 cloves of garlic- mash these! Add salt as you like (1/2 ttsp or 1 ttsp) 1-2 ttsp white pepper powder Ingredients : 15 spoons of tapioca (I use super quality tapioca) 3 spoons of flour 5 spoons of tapioca to coat 250ml-300ml Boiled water 2 small oyster mushrooms- cut as you like Handful onion leaves (cut it first) Canola oil (to fry cireng) These are what you do… Take a bowl, place tapioca, flour, onion leaves, oyster mushroom, salt, white pepper powder, garlic that you mashed Pour water slowly…Stir this dough

Orek Tempe/ Tempeh

Tempeh is a traditional soy product from Indonesia guys… Tempeh is my favorite food!! And today I cooked this menu, called it “Orek Tempe/ Tempeh”. I got this recipe yesterday. Let’s check it out! Seasoning : 8-10 cloves of shallot 2 cloves of garlic 3 red chilies padi (if you like spicy) Mash all of these seasonings! Additional seasonings : 3 cm bulb of galangal 1 bay leaf 3 tsp dark soy sauce Add salt as you like Ingredients : 4 Tempeh (small pack) – cut in dice 100 ml of water canola oil ( to fry tempeh- deep fry) little a bit butter (to saute seasonings) These are what you do… Deep-fry tempeh. Take aside Heat butter on medium flame, add seasonings that you mashed. Saute them about 3 minutes Pour water, dark soy sauce, salt, galangal, and bay leaf. This time, I add some other seasonings, so we can try another an experience in taste. Let’s check it out! Seasoning : 6-8 cloves of shallot 2 cloves garlic 2 candlenuts 5 red chilies padi 3-4 cm bulb of yellow ginger Mash all of these seasoning! The “orange” means, seasoning color (tomato and yellow ginger). So let’s check out this recipe from my kitchen! Seasoning : 6 cloves of shallot 3 cloves of garlic 1 ttsp coriander 2 cm yellow ginger 4 cherry tomatoes 1 candlenut Mash all of these seasonings! Additional seasoning : 2 cm ginger (Zingiber Officinale) 2 cm galangal 2 bay leaves 1/2 - 1 ttsp seedless tamarind Add salt as you like Ingredients : 200-gram long bean (cut as you like) 6 sausages (cut as you like) 2 tsp canola oil to saute seasonings 100 ml of water These are what you do guys… Heat oil in medium flame. But, be careful when you want to cook this fried potato, sometimes maybe you will fail, but don’t worry, you’ll make it. And this is my Perkedel recipe from my kitchen. Check this out! Vegetable again…yes of course! I like the vegetable so much! Today I cooked this veggie food. I got this recipe from the magazine, but…I add some other ingredient, what do you think?? But…I am not following the recipe that I read 100% Sometimes I find my own way to cook my food. Today I’d love to share with you about the beef recipe. Check out, guys… Seasoning : 6-8 cloves of shallot 3-4 cloves of garlic 2 red chilies padi 1 big green chili 2 cm bulb of ginger (Zingiber Officinale) Chop all of these seasonings Additional seasoning : 3 cm bulb of galangal (cut as you like) 2 bay leaves 1 tsp salt soy sauce (to cook french bean) – I use reduced salt soy sauce 1 tsp salt soy sauce (to cook beef) – I use reduced salt soy sauce 2 tsp teriyaki sauce Ingredients : 200-250 gram chill minced beef) 100 ml broth (to cook french bean) 150 ml broth (to cook beef) 2 tsp canola oil (to saute seasonings)

I got this recipe from a magazine, but I add another seasoning. You should try this one Seasoning : 1/4 big onion 3 cloves of garlic Chop all of these seasonings Additional seasonings : 2-3 cm bulb of galangal 1 ttsp  white/ black pepper powder Add salt as you like 100 ml chicken broth Ingredients : 2 sausages (cut as you like) a handful of baby carrot (cut as you like) 100-gram sio peck chye Little a bit of butter (to saute seasoning) These are what you do: Heat butter in medium flame, add seasoning that you chopped, and galangal, saute them about 3 minutes Pour broth, add carrot and sausage, stir them well for few minutes (5-10 minutes) Add sio peck chye, salt, white/ black pepper powder, stir them well and let it fully cooked about 3-5 minutes The last, serve this

I cooked it today, and this is the recipe Seasoning : 1/4 big onion 2 cloves of garlic 2 big green chilies 3 red chilies Chop all of these seasonings Additional seasoning : 2 tsp oyster sauce 1 ttsp fish sauce Add salt as you like 100 ml chicken broth Ingredients : 250gram chicken fillet (cut as you like) 1/4 of pineapple (cut as you like) little a bit of butter (to saute seasonings) These are what you do guys… Heat butter in medium flame. Let check my recipe from my kitchen! Seasoning : 5 cloves of shallot 2 cloves of garlic Chop them. Additional seasoning : Add salt as you like Butter (to saute seasonings) Ingredients : 50-gram mix vegetables 2 handful groundnut 1 potato (cut as you like) Cabbages (add and chop as you like, 2-4 sheets of cabbages) Celery (add celery as you like) 800ml water These are what you do.. heat butter on medium flame, add seasoning that you chopped, saute them about 3 minutes Add mix vegetables, stir them well about 2-3minutes Pour water, add salt, groundnut, and potato, let it boil Add cabbages and celery, stir them well.
