Hi, welcome back to Ichi's Fusion Recipes. Today I would like to share one of the new menus on our dining table. It's an oyster menu!

I am used to adding oyster sauce for my stir fry veggie yet I haven't cooked an oyster menu before. This is my first time making this particular dish. The idea was a few days ago when we visited a grocery shop in the market. That day we bought bamboo shoots and of course oyster meat. as we saw it. Usually, I picked tiger prawn meat, clam, or green muscle, but not this time. I cooked it with sukiyaki sauce as I found out that using sukiyaki sauce is the quickest and easiest one to prepare meat. As you know I do not have time to cook, nowadays, my days are like crazy😡 Sometimes, some people make a question, why a housewife like me have always been busy and do not have time to cook, do not have time to chit chat on the phone or active in a social media. What am I doing at home?πŸ€”πŸ€¨ Yeah, what the hell I am doing.😎

To enhance flavor, I added kaffir lime leaves since my kaffir lime plant produces greeny healthy leaves. Thanks to the Yellow-vented Bulbul bird; the one who has kept the caterpillar at bay! So, if you have a caterpillar issue in your garden, you can solve the problem by growing plants that attract birds. Then lets the bird does their job. Or we set some little fruit nearby the plants or place it under the plants for the birds. Let them know there is the caterpillar hanging out on our plants' leaves. As a result, my kaffir lime plant has lots of leaves and I use it for cooking!πŸ˜‰

Ingredient:
  • 350 g oyster meat
  • 15 ml of sukiyaki sauce - I use only sukiyaki sauce made in Japan
  • 6 cloves of shallot - chop it
  • 4 cloves of garlic - chop it
  • 15 ml of olive oil
  • 2-3 tbsp of butter

  • 6 kaffir lime leaves - finely cut them
These are what you do:
  • Prepare the pan, pour olive oil, and add shallot and garlic that you chop. Turn on the stove on medium-low flame. Saute until fragrant or 2-3 minutes
  • Wash oyster meat before cooking. Add oyster meat to the pan, add kaffir lime leaves, sukiyaki sauce, and butter. Stir and let them cook for about 7-10 minutes. Turn off the stove

  • That's it! Easy peasy, huh?πŸ‘✌😁
To eat this dish I combine with stir fry wong bok and carrot cooked with anchovies stock cube! Similar to sukiyaki sauce, anchovies stock cube is my season one for all! Because with this particular stock cube I can cook many varieties of menus in a quick way!

What do you think? You know what, if there is no restriction, rules, and laws, since a few years ago I open a food stall at home!πŸŒžπŸ˜„
