This week we had a distinct flavor and our choice was Indian taste. In general, people would go with chicken whenever think about tikka. However, I tried tiger prawn since I am not keen with chicken meat. Let's check it out!
Ingredient:
- 400 g of tiger prawn - I pick peel and tail off frozen tiger prawn
- 2 tbsp of butter (salted butter)
- 6 cloves of shallot - chop it
- 4 cloves of garlic - chop it
- 1 big red onion - chop it
- About 250 g of tikka masala cooking sauce
- A bunch of celery - finely cut them
- Prepare the pan and add red onion, garlic, and shallot that you chopped
- Pour about 30-50 ml of olive oil. Turn on the stove on medium-low flame. Saute for about 3-4 minutes
- Add tiger prawn; defrost before use. Add butter. Cook for about 7-10 minutes. Stir them occasionally
- Add tikka masala cooking sauce and celery. Stir thoroughly. Cook for about another 7-10 minutes and stir occasionally. turn off the stove
- Note: I do not need to add salt as I add salted butter. However, if you want to add salt, it's your call. In addition, if you use fresh tiger prawns, pour about 50 ml of water after adding tikka masala cooking sauce. As I picked frozen prawns, I do not need to pour water since frozen prawns contain water in them
