Dinner Idea: Garden Salad with Japanese dressing and tempura shishamo

Hi all of you, how you doing today? Well, it's Thursday! Are you feeling excited today? So, what's your dinner, any idea for dinner today or tomorrow? I have an idea, how about a garden salad with Japanese dressing? This our favorite dinner. But this time I mix it with tempura shishamo fish. What's shishamo fish in English, is that capelin fish? Well, this is our recipe from my kitchen recipe, check it out!

Ingredient:

1. Tempura shishamo
  • 500 g shishamo fish

  • 4 spoon of tempura batter
  • 100 ml of cold water
  • 7 g to 10 g of salt
  • 1 ttsp of basil/ herb
  • 2 tsp of crushed red pepper
  • 2 tsp of garlic powder
  • 3 tsp of onion powder
  • Canola oil to deep fry the fish
2. Garden salad, make it two portions
  • Lettuce
  • Some cherry tomatoes
  • Carrot
  • Purple cabbage
  • Japanese dressing
These are what you do:

1. Tempura shishamo
  • Wash the fish and dry them with kitchen paper
  • Add tempura batter in a bowl

  • Add herb/ basil, onion powder, garlic powder, crushed red pepper, and salt
  • Pour cold water. Mix them carefully
  • Cover the shishamo fish with tempura batter
  • Deep fry the fish
  • Then dry the tempura shishamo on kitchen paper
2. Garden salad

Well, to make the salad it's the easy part of this recipe. Just cut all of the vegetables as you wish. 

3. Arrange your dinner:
  • Place the garden salad first, and pour Japanese dressing on it
  • Arrange the tempura shishamo
  • And your dinner is ready!
