Long Bean Coconut Cream With Tofu
I wrote some of Hari Raya Aidilfitri menu before, Opor Ayam and Rendang. Today, I’d love to share with you one of special food, yeah it’s “Long bean coconut cream with dried tofu”. Check out my recipe from my kitchen guys….
Seasonings :
- 8 cloves of red onions
- 4 cloves of garlic
- chilies ( 10 chilies or handful of chilies)
- 2 candlenuts
- 3 lime leaves
- 3cm bulb of yellow ginger
Mash all of these seasonings!
Additional seasonings :
- 3 bay leaves
- salt (add as you like)
Ingredients :
- 250 g long beans
- 10 dried tofu
- little a bit of butter to saute seasonings
- 100 ml coconut cream
- 1,2 L water
These are what you do guys…
- Pour coconut cream and water in a bowl, stir them well and take a side
- Heat a butter in a wok or heavy pan on medium flame
- Add seasonings that you mashed and bay leaves, about 3 minutes
- Pour water coconut cream, let it boil
- Add dried tofu and salt, let it cooked about 5-10 minutes
- Add long beans, stir them well and let it fully cooked, about 5-10 minutes
- The last, serve it with “ketupat” or “lontong”…
