Well, well, today I am going to share one of our favorites menu in the house: pan fry salmon! But, this time I combine it with something different from before, I call it anchovies broth. Wow, what the taste like, you guess!๐Ÿ˜‰ Talking about salmon, the first time I bought this fish was when I moved to Singapore. Believe me, living in a remote village made me curious about the world outside my world which means my hometown. I had known the word "salmon" but I had never seen it and virtually impossible to saw this particular fish in the tiny village.  However, since I had a big dream, what I had believed was that someday I would able to eat this pink meat fish. Well, well, today I am gonna share my fusion recipe, I call it Roasted Chicken Breast with Sukiyaki Sauce. It sounds unusual since I do not eat meat including chicken meat. However, it just only me, so basically, not often but still buying meat is on my shopping list and cooking meat menu sometimes. Eating chicken meat was a luxury dish for most villagers where I came from. The reason was just simply they could not afford to buy chicken meat at the market. Vegetables, tempeh, tofu, and dried fish were the most popular ingredient among villagers at the time for daily meals. You guess cooking chicken menu was only once a year. Did they raise hen farm in each household? Yes, they did. Besides doing farm, every household raised goat and chicken. But people in my village would rather sell it than cook it to feed their family

It looks like we have a fish recipe again; call it baked tuna with sukiyaki sauce and onion! Tuna is one of my favorites fish since I was a child. I mentioned in my article before that saltwater fish such as tuna and mackerel were the only my favorite fish menu on the table. While most villagers ate catfish, tilapia, and any other freshwater fishes. Was I too picky about food? Well, the only reason was that I did not like how they raise catfish at the farm, secondly because of the earthly taste. But I did liking to eat freshwater fish that caught in the wild. For example in the paddy field; in general, the paddy field in my hometown grew in watery places. It's been a while since I posted the last article on Ichi's Fusion Recipes. I've been busy with so many things! My husband and I talk a lot about our next plan for our future recently. It sounds hard due to the coronavirus situation all over the world, but we are still on our path to reach our goal together! Someone said that I have too many wishes just because I am a married woman and want to get a higher education. Chasing a Ph.D. sounds crazy for them. However, my dream has always the same every year since I was in the fifth grade, "get a higher education, and help others who need help." Hokkien mee & curry tempeh with boiled red spinach - Photographed by Acik Mardhiyanti Ingredient: 400 g of fresh tempeh - cut in dice 250 g of tiger prawn - cut into small pieces 4 kaffir lime leaves 15 ml of sukiyaki sauce 4-6 clove of garlic - cut finely or chop them 1 big yellow onion cut into slice 150 ml of olive oil 200 ml of cooking cream 1800 ml of water 20 g of garlic powder 20 g of onion powder
