Balinese Chicken
few years ago, I got this recipe from newspaper. At the time, once I made it. But it’s not easy to find some seasoning for Balinese Chicken when I moved in Singapore. But now,…I can cook it anytimes I want. Because…I’ve grown some of Balinese Chicken seasonings. So let’s check how to make this menu!
Seasonings :
- 6 cloves red onions
- 4 cloves garlic
- 2 cm bulb yellow ginger
- 2 cm bulb galangal
- 2 cm bulb sand ginger/ kaempferia galangal/ kencur
- 2 cm zingiber officinale/ jahe
- 2 sheets of lime leaves
- 4 red chilies (if you like hot and spicy)
- 4 green chilies (if you like spicy)
Mash all of these seasonings!
Additional seasoning :
- 2-4 stalks of lemongrass
- 2 bay leaves
- salt as you like
Ingredients :
- 200 gram chicken boneless (cut as you like)
- 200 ml water
- 1 tsp canola oil
these are what you do guys….
- Heat the oil on medium flame (you can use wok, heavy pan)
- Put seasonings that you mashed, lemongrass, bay leaves. Saute them until fragrant, about 2 minutes
- Put your chicken, stir them well
- After few seconds, pour water, and salt. Let it fully cooked, about 15 minutes
- And then…serve it….
How is taste??…it’ll make you crazy guys it’s great and tasty!
