Hi, all of you, how is your day going? Hopefully, you are safe and sound everywhere you are. Here in Singapore, groups of five will be allowed to dine-in from July 12 (next Monday). We are more relaxed now since the new cases in the community gradually downward day by day which means the spread is under control. We must work together as a nation! Play our part in this battle against the Covid-19 virus! We are strong together!๐Ÿ’ช

Speaking of which, today I am going to share my new recipe by using Western herbs like rosemary and thyme to stir fry beef. Wait for a second, are you sure beef? Indeed, I can't eat beef since my body has always rejected it as it causes nausea. However, I have tried to make a recipe and how to cook an acceptable beef menu for my body. I know it's weird because most people adore this meat and become the common menu on the table. I can easy to identify the scent of meat whether chicken or beef, those things are made me vomit. Even fish, if I do not take attention on how the cooking process, I would end up vomit. Because of this, I avoid buying food from outside. Unless we are tired or get sick, I have no choice๐Ÿ™„

By combining Western herbs such as rosemary and thyme, I try to create my new recipe; add those two herbs along with black pepper sauce where I could easy to spot this particular sauce in the market or grocery nearby. In contrast, I can only find those Western herbs in the Hypermarket at expensive prices. I should not buy these herbs since they are priceless. But my curiosity to try them is unresistible!๐Ÿ˜…

1. Stir fry veggie beef with black pepper sauce, rosemary, and thyme

Ingredient:
  • 200 g stir fry beef
  • 1 big yellow onion

  • 6-8 cloves of garlic
  • 2 big green chili
  • 3 stalk thyme
  • 1 stalk rosemary
  • 30 g of black pepper sauce

  • 2 g of salt & garlic powder
  • 5 g of onion powder
  • 1/2 big carrot or 1 medium one
  • handful of cauliflower
  • Some french bean
  • 1-2 tbsp of butter
  • 15 ml of olive oil
These are what you do:
  • Prepare the pan, pour olive oil, turn on the stove on medium-low flame
  • Add yellow onion and garlic that you cut or chop and chili.  Saute for about 3-4 minutes

  • Turn on the stove to medium, add beef, rosemary, thyme, butter, and carrot. Stir fry it for about 7-10 minutes

  • Add the rest of the veggies, add black pepper sauce, garlic&salt powder, and onion powder. Stir fry them for about 10 minutes

  • By lowering the flame to medium-low, we can add another 3-5 more minutes to stir it. Turn off the flame

  • Stir fry beef is ready!
2. Baked Tofu

To make baked tofu is easier than you think.
  • Get the tofu from the store. Usually, I get 4 white tofu a pack
  • Cut through from the top but don't until the bottom
  • Prepare the tray and cover with aluminum foil
  • Pour about 50 ml of olive oil, and add 2 g of salt&garlic powder
  • Roll the tofu on the tray
  • Start baking! Put the tray in the oven
  • Bake for about 20 minutes at 230 degrees Celcius!
  • It's done!
3. Prepare the meal
  • This time I ate stir fry beef with Japanese rice
  • Place the rice first with furikake on top of it
  • Place stir fry veggie beef, then baked white tofu
  • Do not forget the fruit!

How the taste? The taste of this stir fry beef is incredible and I am able to eat this menu! ๐Ÿ˜‹๐Ÿค—
