It looks like I have a little time to write a recipe today. Actually, I have some more but unfortunately, I do not have leisure time. Some people think a wife who is a housemaker does not have a job and has plenty of time and does nothing. In reality, it is the opposite. If you have already read my new article on The Journey of Ichi's Family about what happened to Ichikraft after two years I closed the Etsy shop temporarily, you will understand the reason why I pull myself from writing articles on my blogs. So, since I am able to write today, I am going to share my fried recipe! Let's check it out!😉
1. Prepare the white rice first
I cooked 2 cups of Japanese rice using the rice cooker. While the rice was in the rice cooker, I was able to prepare the vegetables and the salmon.
2. Making Fried Rice
- 360 g of boneless salmon - cut them into small bites
- 45-50 ml of yakitori sauce
- 15-20 ml of sukiyaki sauce
- 10 g of garlic powder
- 10 g of onion powder
- 10 g of black pepper
- About 35-40 g of anchovies spice powder
- 5 g of ginger powder - optional
- 1 pack lettuce
- 1/2 big carrot - finely cut or just shredded it
- 1 Japanese cucumber - Shredded it
- Some white and purple cabbage
- a handful of pea sprout
- some cherry tomatoes
- 8 cloves of shallot - chop them
- 4-5 cloves of garlic - chop them
- 2 tbsp of butter
- 50-70 ml of olive oil
- Prepare the pan or wok
- Add garlic and shallot that you chopped
- Pour 30 ml of olive oil. Saute in medium-low flame
- Add salmon, butter, and yakitori sauce; optional we can put ginger powder. Mix them together and occasionally stir them. I give 7-10 minutes until the salmon is fully cooked. However, this is just a preference, if you think 3 minutes is enough then it is just fine. The reason why I cooked my salmon until 10 minutes is that I can't eat fish that still smells fishy, otherwise, I will throw up
- Add the Japanese rice that is already cooked. Pour sukiyaki sauce, add garlic and onion powder, anchovies spice powder, and black pepper. Pour 20 ml of olive oil and stir them well for about 3 minutes in medium to high flame
- Add all the vegetables we have. Stir them for about 5 minutes in medium to medium-low flame. Pour olive oil again if it is needed; maybe about 20 ml. Turn off the stove
- It's done!✋🙂
- I ate my yakitori salmon fried rice with gherkin!😋
