Quick and Easy Cooking: Stir-fry Meatball & Veggie, Fried Tempeh & Tofu

Hi, how have you been? I hope you are in good shape! Well, well, what do we have today? It looks common in my recipe, however, in this article I want to share how easy to prepare a healthy meal; it less season, and another technic to fry tempeh and tofu which is a new way to fry tempeh and tofu in a quick way! Let check it out!😉

1. Stir-fry meatball & veggie

Ingredient:
  • 6 meatball - cut into thin-slice
  • 4 cloves of garlic - cut or chope it
  • 1/2 of medium-size carrot - cut into thin-slice
  • Some french bean
  • Some broccoli
  • and some cauliflower
  • 2 tbsp of black pepper sauce

  • 1 g of garlic powder
  • 1 g of onion powder
  • 2 tbsp of butter or 30-50 ml of olive oil
  • 1 stalk of rosemary - finely cut
  • 100 ml of water
These are what you do:
  • Prepare the pan, add garlic that you chop, pour olive oil, or add butter. Set the stove on medium-low flame. Saute for about 3 minutes

  • Add meatball that you cut, add rosemary. Stir them well for about 5-7 minutes

  • Add carrot, broccoli, cauliflower, french bean, and tomato (you can add tomato as well). Pour 100 ml of water. Add black pepper sauce, garlic powder, and onion powder. Stir them well for about maximum 5 minutes and turn off the stove

Wow, easy and quick, isn't it? Moreover, it is less season; only use the main 3 seasons which are black pepper sauce, garlic powder, and onion powder! Rosemary and fresh garlic are additional. 

2. Fried Tempeh & Tofu

I know, there is many fried tempeh in my article, however, in this article, I would like to share a new way how to fry tempeh and tofu!

Ingredient:
  • 200 g of fresh tempeh
  • 2 blocks of white tofu
  • 1 stalk of rosemary
  • 2 cloves of garlic - cut it
  • 2 g of salt and garlic powder

  • we can pour 400 - 500 ml of canola oil or olive oil
These are what you do:
  • Prepare the pan, pour the canola oil or olive oil. Add rosemary, garlic that you cut and turn on the stove on medium-low flame

  • While waiting for the oil to warm, we can cut the tempeh and tofu

  • When the oil is ready, add 1 g salt garlic powder, then add the tofu that we cut

  • Fry the tofu until golden brown! Take aside and place fried tofu on a kitchen towel or kitchen paper

  • Before arranging the tempeh on the pan, add 1 g of salt garlic powder first. Then arrange tempeh on it. Fry until golden brown, take aside, and place them on the kitchen paper. Turn off the stove

  • We can fry tempeh and tofu at the same time. however, it's a little bit tricky as tempeh would definitely turn brown first before the tofu

3. Arrange the meal:
  • Place Japanese white rice first, add furikake on top of it
  • Add stir fry meatball and veggie, fried tempeh, and fried tofu
  • Do not forget to eat fruit!
  • Dinner is ready!

What do you think? It's easy, simple cooking with a quick and tasty result. I like my new way on how to fry tempeh and tofu. This new technic definitely saved lots of my time in the kitchen. Furthermore, I do not use mortal and pestle anymore to grind the fry tempeh & tofu season. I forgot when the last time I use mortar and pestle; I reckon it has been a few years since the last time I used to grind my season. Nowadays, I say goodbye to mortar and pestle!😁
