Lunch Menu: Tempura Shisamo Fishes, Tempura Tofu, and Soup With Bonito Flavour

Ingredients: 
  • 1 pack shisamo fishes ( 8 shisamo fishes)

  • 1 tofu
  • Cabbage (2-4 sheets cabbages)
  • Handful of cauliflower
  • 4 green peas
  • 1 or 1/2 big tomato
  • 1/2 of carrot - cut as you like
  • 2 pack bonito flavored seasoning

  • 1/2 of onion - cut it
  • 4 tsp Japanese tempura

  • 120 ml - 150 ml of cold water
  • 100 ml to make a soup
  • 1 tsp of salt to taste tempura tofu and shisamo
  • 1 -2 tsp of garlic black pepper powder to taste tempura tofu and shisamo
  • Butter
  • Canola oil to fry tempura tofu and shisamo
  • Furikake
These are what you do:
  • Heat butter in a pan, add the onion. Saute them until fragrant
  • Add water, add bonito flavored seasoning
  • Add carrot, few second add cauliflower, cabbage, and green peas
  • If you like more salty you can add a little bit of salt. Taste it
  • Mix all of the vegetables, cook your soup for 3-5 minutes. Don't cook your veggie soup more than 5 minutes
  • Take aside
  • Now prepare Japanese tempura in a bowl
  • Pour cold water, add salt, and garlic pepper powder, mix them all
  • First, cover your tofu with tempura batter
  • Fry tempura tofu with enough canola oil in a pan. Don't let your tempura swimming
  • After frying tempura tofu, then cook tempura shisamo
  • But first, cover your shisamo fishes with tempura batter
  • Fry them in a pan with enough canola oil. Don't let your tempura shisamo fish swimming
  • Take aside, and place tempura tofu and tempura shisamo fishes on a kitchen towel or kitchen paper
  • It's done! Serve it with Japanese rice and pour furikake on it. And don't forget a fruit, you can choose an apple, orange, grapes, pear, or other fruits to complete your lunch menu
