Stir Fried Bitter Gourd

Hi, all of you… Today I would love to share one of my kitchen recipes. Do you like bitter gourd? I believe many of you hate this vegetable, right? But, I give you my recipe that could change your mind about bitter gourd. Because this is healthy food. Let’s check it out!

Seasoning:
  • 6 cloves of shallot (chopped)
  • 3-4 cloves of garlic (chopped)
  • 1 ttsp of shrimp paste
  • Salt (add salt as you like)
Ingredients:
  • 4 small of bitter gourd
  • 1- 2 white tofu (cut in dice or as you like)
  • a little a bit butter ( to saute seasoning)
  • 100-200 ml of water
These are what you do:
  • Peeled bitter gourd, and wash them
  • Remove the seeds and cut into pieces
  • Soak bitter gourd about 10-15 minutes
  • Drain bitter gourd
  • Heat the butter on medium flame
  • Add garlic and onion, saute them until fragrance
  • Add shrimp paste, mix them well
  • Add bitter gourd, mix them for about 5-7 minutes
  • Then add tofu, mix them
  • pour water, and add salt. Let it fully cook or until the water is dry
  • The last serve stir-fried bitter gourd
